Authentication Services
The Chinese Consulates authenticate documents which are executed
in the United States and will be used in China. Type of documents
include: birth/death certificates, power of attorney, marriage
certificates, diplomas, adoption application papers, business
license, etc.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
1. Documents are signed before a notary republic.
2. Documents are then Certified by the clerk of Court of the County in which the document is commissioned.
(May be omitted if the secretary of state will certify directly to the notary.)
3. Certified by the Secretary of the State in which the document is executed.
4. Certified by the relevant Consulate - General.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
1. Completed
Authentication Form (G1)
2. The documents to be authenticated, and a photocopy of the documents.
3. Photocopy of the applicant's passport or driver license. In case of business license authentication, a photocopy of the company's legal person's passport or driver license is required.
4. Original Articles of Incorporation, Certified by the Secretary of State.
