Work Visa Application

ORIGINAL INVITATION DOCUMENTS REQUIRED!

You will need to make sure your employer is aware that you intend to bring family with you and will have prepared accommodations that are suitable for everyone.   Most importantly, is to be sure they include each family members name on the government invitation letter.

Bringing a Non Working Spouse

If you intend to have residence in China for your non-working spouse, in addition to your visa, you must prepare an original copy of your marriage certificate notarized by the secretary of state in the state where you were married.  Authentication is required for these documents and this is an additional service with its own fee structure.  We will attempt to Authenticate your marriage certificate which you will need after you arrive for completing the residence formalities.

Bringing a Non Working Child

If you intend to have residence in China for your non-working children, in addition to your visa, you must prepare an original copy of your son or daughters birth certificate notarized by the secretary of state where they were born.  You can find this service by locating the secretary of state website in your state.  Authentication is required in order to process your child's residence status.  This is an additional service with its own fee structure.  We will attempt to Authenticate your child's birth certificate which you will need after you arrive for completing the residence formalities.

Bringing a Working Spouse or Child.

There is no additional paperwork for this situation.  Each person eligible to work will receive their own work invitations and we will process each person individually.

There are no multiple entry visas issued for z visas.  You cannot leave China in the first thirty days after you arrive and until you have successfully completed residence formalities, otherwise you will have to begin the entire invitation process over again from the beginning.  Once you obtain your residence permit, you will be able to come and go as you like.

Medical Examinations

You should have your physician complete the medical form before applying for a Chinese visa.  It is important for the following reasons:  It will medically certify you for employment eligibility.

You do not need to send us the completed medical form.  This is something that you will need for your employer in China.

It is important to note that you will also receive a medical evaluation within thirty days after you arrive in China.  The most they will do is take blood and perform an ultra sound.  Most of the time you will have to fill out forms confirming that you are healthy.

Those with serious heart disease, HIV or other communicable diseases will not be granted residence status and most employers will require you to leave immediately.
